My thoughts:

I was introduced to red wine by one of my husband’s, (then boyfriend) friend and I never looked back. Now, wine has become a great way for me to relax after a long day of cooking, screaming, and homework doing.  So after completing my test on winc.com, my recommendations were 2 bottles of red and 2 bottles of white wines.  I skipped their recommendations and went straight for 5 bottles of red.

Shipping was fast and the packaging was perfect. I received notification from Fedex about having an adult home to sign for the package. There were no seals around some of the bottles and that was a concern for me. But after a quick trip back to the website, I noticed that these bottles were being sold as is. The quality of each wine was excellent and the corks were perfect, I think I can live with that! You cannot go wrong with $13/bottle for such great wine.

If you are planning on giving winc wine as a gift, I suggest you pick the bottles that come with caps on instead of corks. Rogue Admirals Shiraz is one of my favorites. It is a Strong and delicious wine. This wine has a sage aroma with peppery notes and reminds me  of raspberries, minus the sweetness. Give winc a try and let me know how you like it!
