Wash day:: Mini Twists Week 2

Hi guys! I am back with the hair again. It’s been two weeks since I put the hair in mini twists.  I try to wash it at least once a week to avoid product buildup because I still use oil on my scalp while my hair is twisted. Washing the hair is also a good way to add moisture. Not washing your hair while wearing any kind of extensions can also cause dandruff and unnecessary shedding.

 #WashDayExperience
  1. I am so in love with my Alberto V05 Clarifying conditioner. I added a little bit of tea tree oil to it and washed my scalp very well.
  2. It took me a long time to dry the hair again. I even thought about using a hair dryer, but NO HEAT came to mind and I gave up.
  3. I added extra virgin olive oil to my hair after it was completely dry.
  4. The next day, I applied ORS Carrot oil to my scalp to minimize shedding. Dry scalp means excessive shedding where I come from.

As you can see, my wash day was pretty simple. It does not take long to clean the scalp and  add a little moisture to the hair. I love simple wash days like this one. How was your wash day?

I agree, your skin looks radiant! What exactly are you doing with that honey and lemon?!?! Also your braids are so pretty…I wish I could braid anything other than a doll's hair!

  19. September 25, 2014 / 10:06 pm

Lol @ doll's hair! I mix honey and lemon juice and rub it on my face. I leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse. It helps with blemishes, blackheads and wrinkles.
