Wash Day: Garnier Fructis Fortifying Conditioner Body Boost

Did you notice my 80 oz. 100% pure honey? Yep! I have been giving my  hair some sugar. Sugar combats frizz. Honey leaves the hair soft and shiny when mixed with extra virgin olive oil. So today is my wash day, and I kept it simpler than usual.

  • Pre-pooed with: Honey + Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Washed with: TREsemme Luxurious Moisture mixed with water in an applicator bottle
  • Conditioned with: Garnier Fructis Fortifying Conditioner
  • Moisturized with: Scurl No Drip Activator Moisturizer
  • Sealed with: Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Grease my scalp with Jamaican Black Castor Oil.

I used an applicator bottle so that I could apply the shampoo on my scalp only. My ends became very dry after I took the weave out. I bought the Garnier Fructis because it was on sale. When I picked it from the store I saw two things: $3.00 and Fortifying conditioner. I did not even read the ingredient label, nor checking if it was right for my hair. As it turned out, it is not right for my hair. It is for fine or flat hair; very different from what I have on my head. It supposed to give the hair volume, and volume is the last thing I need right now. Maybe next time I’ll do a protein treatment or deep condition my hair. Until next time, Naturalistas!
