Wash Day:: Experimenting With TREsemme Moisture Rich Conditioner

Hello Darlings! While I have been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for my hair to grow passed bra straps, I failed to notice that I have been losing the hair around my edges. I blame it on some protective styles. Not all protective styles are right for your hair, ladies. Any protective style that involves braiding my hair from the front to the back is bad for my edges because this area is very sensitive. And that is why mama is taking a break from any tight braids right now! I did something different with the wash day this week.  I used TREsemme Moisture Rich Conditioner to deep condition my hair. Please do not try to deep condition your hair with a surface conditioner. It will just sit on top of your hair. It was my first time experimenting with this product. I will tell you what I think about it next month.

#WashDayExperience
{1} I co-washed with Alberto V05 Clarifying conditioner.
{2} Deep conditioned with TREsemme Moisture Rich Conditioner mixed with some honey and extra virgin olive  oil for exactly an hour.
{3} I used a T-shirt to remove the water from my hair.
{4} I added my anti-frizz serum while my hair was still damped, followed by just a little bit of extra virgin olive oil, and Giovanni direct leave-in conditioner.
{5} I twisted my hair and enjoyed a beautiful twist-out the next day, which did not last a long time, by the way.

The wash day went well. I am shocked that my hair is not shedding like crazy already.  It is the shedding season for me. My head itches more, which means it is the growth season also. Winter means wig season for me. I am hoping to find a curly one that does not cost me an arm and a leg.

How was your wash day?

I'm the same way when my hair is itching, it means growth. Glad you had a great wash day!

Your twist out looks great! I'm sure you'll get to bra strap length in no time.
I prefer Tresemme Naturals over the Moisture Rich.
You and I are in the same boat with the itchy scalp, its fine one day and then the next I'm like I my gosh give me a break. What do you do to relieve the itchiness?

Same for me. I had a big bottle as well and I had to park it. The cones in it cause buildup and doesn't seem (to me) to seep into the strand. I like the twist out 🙂

I love using tea tree oil mixed with extra virgin olive oil to help with the itchiness. It's a good relief.

Cute twist out chica! How many sections do you twist your hair in? You got great definition!

Do you think that the anti-frizz treatment is helping?

    Thanks for sharing your #washdayexperience!

Great wash day, dear! You really know which products are good for the hair. You inspire me every day! 🙂 I'm also very curious about the wig.

I mostly wore straight wigs when I was transitioning. Now I want something different. The last one I got was from my local beauty supply store. I don't remember the name.

Have you tried coconut oil for your edges? Not to grow them but to keep them moisturized while protective styling. I like it especially during winter months
