Wash Day Experience: Washing My Hair With Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Shampoo

Hello Darlings,

I know I told you that I had a successful wash day last week, but this week is a little different, I had a wonderful wash day. #happyDance! That’s the whole point of having wash days. You try different products and techniques  until you find something that works for you. Or you chronicle your wash days so you can go back to the last day that really worked for you when your recent one did not work. I washed my hair with Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Shampoo on Monday. I received the sample packs from samplesource.com, if you want to check them out. My hair is not completely damaged per se, but I thought my ends could use some TLC.

#WashDayExperience

[1] Pre-pooing: I used my DIY pure coconut oil to prep my hair before shampooing. I added some of my Alberto V05 clarifying conditioner to make detangling easier. I threw a shower cap on my head and left it on for 30 minutes, enough time for my hair to absorb everything.
[2] Shampooing: I shampooed my scalp only using Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Shampoo. And as usual, I had to add some water to the shampoo. The thickness was too much for me. I was tempted to comb my hair, but I did not. I am pretty sure I could because, number one, the  shampoo is good like that. And number two, the coconut oil softened my hair enough for the comb to run through it.
[3] Conditioning: The Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Conditioner made it so easy for me to detangle after applying my tea rinse to my scalp. My hair felt so slippery.
[4] Deep Conditioning: I deep conditioned with Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Reconstructing Butter. I applied it to my ends only and left it on for about 5 minutes. My hair felt so good atferwards that I did not even want to do my oil rinse.
[5] Drying: Air dried for 30 minutes.
[6] Leave-ins: My hair was about 80% dry when I added my oil mix (pure castor, coconut, and olive oils). I did not use a leave-in conditioner until the next day.
Can we please have a moment of silence for a wonderful wash day? My hair responded so well to all the products from the time I started until the end. I had minimal shedding, another reason for me to dance! Today is the third day, and I am still enjoying soft and shiny hair. I hope your wash day was as wonderful as mine.
