Wash Day Experience: Washing My Hair With Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect Shampoo

Hello Everybody,
It’s funny how long it takes me to wash my hair these days. I guess I am learning more from you guys, and my regimen has changed as a result. I have been using the L.O.C method more. I have been using different shampoos on my hair too, mostly trial sizes and sample packs. I love to use trial sizes first before I buy a big bottle of shampoo, unless it is a product that everybody is raving about. It was my first time using Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner. I requested some samples from them and they were kind enough to provide them.

#WashDayExperience
  1. I deep conditioned on dry hair after detangling. I  added some Jamaican Black Castor Oil to my regular deep conditioner and I applied it mostly to my ends . I put my Hot Head on and left it on for 30 minutes.
  2. I rinsed the deep conditioner out and shampooed my hair with the Pantene Pro-V Repair and Protect Shampoo.
  3. I applied Luizianna black tea directly to my scalp before I applied my Pantene conditioner. I left it on for 5 minutes before rinsing it out.
  4. I let my hair 90% air dry while  doing work around the house.
  5. My leave-ins, cream, and oils were added at the end of this whole process.
I would say that I love both products from Pantene. The shampoo was not too harsh on my hair. I am the kind of person who would use black tea on my scalp only when I am suffering from extreme shedding, but now I do it on a regular basis. I believe that the best solution to a problem is to prevent it from happening in the first place.
Have you used Pantene Pro-V Protect and Repair before?

Good morning honey. Totally agree with you, the best solution to a problem is to prevent it from happening in the first place. I wasn't too happy with Pantene. My hair felt totally dry and kinda funny, dunno how to describe how it felt sort of dull maybe. But that was a long time ago since then I never tried Pantene again, lol.
    kisses darling

I have never used any pantene product, but this sounds like a win! I love the waves and curls in your hair!

thanks for the advice on being proactive when it comes to hair care instead of reactive. I really need to try this black tea rinse.

Loving that hairstyle. Think I'll be trying that tomorrow. My hair isn't a fan of Pantene products, my hair was left feeling dry and straw like!

I need to implement the LOC method as well! That's great to hear a good review on Pantene since I haven't heard many good things about Pantene for a very long time.
