Wash Day Experience: Washing My Hair With Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Hydrating Shampoo

Getting the moisture back into my hair was my main goal for this wash day experience. My last wash was a disaster. My hair felt dry and unable to absorb moisture. I managed to co-wash my hair three days later, which made this wash day a little better. I trimmed my hair and got rid of all of my split ends. This trim was long overdue. I tried the wash n’ go hair style. Wait till you see my hair:-)
#WashDayExperience
  1. Pre-pooing with extra virgin coconut oil and Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Conditioner.
  2. Washing with Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Hydrading shammpo, watered down and on my scalp only.
  3. Conditioning with Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Replenishing Conditioner. I left it on my hair for a few minutes and rinsed it out.
  4. Towel dried for 5 minutes.
  5. Moisturized with Scurl No Drip Activator Moisturizer
  6. Sealed with my oil mix after taking some pictures with my wash n’ go.

The power of shrinkage
People always ask me where the picture was taken when they see this background. No, I am not flying! This is the view from my main floor. We have some of the tallest trees in the subdivision, and they look so beautiful during the summer. I was standing on the deck. I felt like I had big chopped a gain after trimming my hair (don’t worry, it’s just the shrinkage). It was beautiful outside. I was happy about my wash day experience. So, I decided to have my picture taken buy my seven-year-old son, aka AJ. I had a stress free wash day. And just so you know, I am done with protein treatments. I am taking a break from both protein and shampoos. I will be co-washing my hair and do hot oil treatments from now on.
How was your wash day?

It depends on what the hair needs, Diana. I used these products because my hair needed moisture. I use different products when I think my hair needs protein, which is very rare. If I think my hair is normal, I use any product. Coconut oil provides moisture. The Palmer's conditioner is so extremely moisturizing too. Kisses!
