Wash Day:: Co-washing With Clairol Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner

I washed my hair without using a comb; that was a
totally first for me. I realized that  I experience less shedding and breakage when I
don’t use a comb while washing my hair. I used my fingers to detangle
and section my hair before washing it. I also put my hair into big twists to avoid knots.

  1. My wash day took a little longer this week because I had to follow more steps.  I also used two different conditioners, one to clarify my scalp (Alberto V05 Herbal Escapes Clarifying Conditioner) mixed with tea tree oil,  and another one (Clairol Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner) for my second wash.
  2. I deep conditioned for 45 minutes using Cantu Shea butter after applying my green tea rinse to the scalp.
  3. I used a T-shirt to dry my hair for about 15 minutes, then I added some oil to my hair to seal the moisture in.
  4. After my hair was completely dry, I oiled my scalp with my carrot oil.
  5. I also added some anti-frizz serum to help me with the styling.
I will totally let my hair down next week. Lol!

My wash day was like a walk in the park when everybody else is at work. I am happy with the Clairol Herbal Essences Conditioner. I was left with no crunchy hair after my washing session ended. I was not sure what to do with the hair. So I pinned it up. I am glad that I can do more with my hair now. I guess all the protective styles have paid off.
What about you, how was your wash day?

Your hair looks so cute in the roll in your hair. Hello Hydration is another favorite of mine as well, a good conditioner. I have yet to get used to detangling with my fingers… sigh one day.

That's a cute protective style. I recently purchased the Cantu shea leave-in and I must admit i kinda like it… I didn't know you could use it as a deep conditioner, I'll have to try that out

Wow, look at that hair.!! Like how you styled it. Combing while washing has always been a thing we all copied from our hairdressers :)). I guess if it prevents shedding, you can't beat that.

How long have you been using the tea tree oil for? I hear a lot about its replenishing results. Thoughts?!?
