Wash Day And Hair Style

 #WashDayExperience
  1.  I finally I got a chance to buy Mane ‘n Tail Detangler. It says “The Original” on the bottle. I don’t even know what that means. I used it to detangle my hair, but it really was not necessary.
  2. I oiled and massaged my scalp with 100% Jojoba oil for about 5 minutes.
  3. I applied Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner to my hair from roots to tips, not on my scalp. Then, I added just a little bit of Africa’s Best Hair Mayonnaise to my ends. I covered my head with a plastic cap, wrapped it with a towel, and let it deep condition for about 45 minutes.
  4. I rinsed my hair and washed my scalp with Alberto V05 Herbal Escapes Clarifying Conditioner.
  5. I did a quick tea rinse with black. I left it on for about 15 minutes, then rinsed.
  6. I quickly added Giovanni Direct Leave-in Conditioner to my hair, followed by Haitian Black Castor Oil.
  7.  Roller Set & Wrapped around with bobby pins.

  8. The next day
Can you tell that I am loving my hair? My wash day went well, you guys. My hair is healthy. It is growing. And I am loving it! All the shedding that I anticipated did not happen. Thank you, Jesus! My twists are fuller and thicker this time around, which means I can keep them on for up to six weeks if the hair does not start growing like weeds. I will keep you guys updated on the progress.
Did you do anything different to your hair this week?

Glad your wash day experience went well. I haven't added anything special to my washing. Just the basics a nourishing shampoo, shea butter conditioner and indian hemp.
    Have a good day!

Your hair looks beautiful, dear. I can see that using these good products works for you. I've seen the mane 'n tail products in store but I didn't buy them because I already have too much stuff! LOL

Your mini twists are simply gorgeous! I just love the versatility that they provide. How long does it take you to install them?

These twists are such a great protective style. Whats even better is that you install them yourself. Very talented.

Awwww! Thanks doll! It takes me 8-12 to do them. It can be time consuming.

Thank you, Tomes! They charge too much. I had to learn to do it myself.
