Utama Spice Danau Satu Deluxe Nebulizing Personal Essential Oil Diffuser REVIEW

I didn’t know how important an essential oil diffuser was until I got this one from Utama Spice.  If you are into essential oils, you either own a diffuser or thought about getting one. I have been thinking about getting a diffuser forever, but like some of you, I say to myself that I have time. An essential oil diffuser can lighten your mood, help you fall asleep, purify the air, and improve your overall well-being.  If you are not familiar with the name Utama Spice, it is an online store that specializes in 100% pure and natural aromatherapy products. Their headquarter is based in Indonesia. The company has been in business for over 20 years. They recently added Danau Satu Deluxe nebulizing personal diffuser to their list. Unlike regular diffusers, a nebulizing diffuser sends micro droplets of pure essential oil into the air. It does not use any heat nor water, just pure oil, which means you are getting the full benefits of the oil.

               As you can see in the above picture, the product came nicely packaged in a beautiful box. All the accessories were secured to ensure safe arrival of Danau Satu. Upon opening the box, there is a quote from Utama Spice, “Never underestimate the investment you make in yourself.” I totally agree, because investing in yourself is as good as investing in other people.  I was shocked to see how small and cute the diffuser was. My eight-year-old daughter instantly fell in love with it. She wanted to keep it in her room. But we agreed on sharing it. The wooden base feels soft and very light to carry. The wooden base comes with the glass reservoir that holds the oil, and the reservoir cap that dispenses the aroma of the essential oil after it’s turned into small particles.

It was very easy to put the diffuser together. This nebulizing diffuser looks small but it is very powerful. It produces led light mood lighting that creates a nice and soothing atmosphere, which is great for those of us who have trouble falling asleep. It has the ability to diffuse essential oil to an area of over 450 square feet. That’s about 112 square feet more than the size of my room. Now I understand why I could smell the lavender scent down the stairs! The on/off switch can be adjusted to dispense the diffused oil slower or faster. The diffuser stays on for about 2 minutes, then stops for 1 minute, starts again for two minutes back and forth, until it turns off automatically after two hours, while the light still stays on.

I first used rubbing alcohol to test the diffuser. I got a little scared because I thought it was going to get hot, but everything stayed normal. After testing it, I used the dropper pipette to remove the excess rubbing alcohol from the reservoir.   This Nebulizing Diffuser diffused the essential oil very fast. I don’t like to measure when it comes to liquid. But since the instruction says to put 20-25 drops in the glass reservoir, I measured 30 using one of the dropper pipettes that came in the box, then dropped it in there. The scent coming from the diffuser started to fill the room immediately. I like the fact that the wooden base is very steady. The diffuser does not make any crazy and annoying noise when it’s on. It does not occupy a lot of space either. You don’t have to worry about the glass heating up either. The glass reservoir and the cap are available for purchase on their website, just in case you need to replace them.
