Thrifty Thursday: Alfani Step N’ Flex Women Heels

These Alfani Step N’ Flex Women Heels are the first items in our Thrifty Thursday category on the blog. I have been thinking about making the blog more fun and personal. I want to connect with you guys by sharing with you how I make my life fun by keeping it simple. We will also have THRIFTY FIND OF THE WEEK. I am also working on a category called IF WE WERE DRINKING WINE, where we can talk about spirituality, health, and womanhood.

Most of the fashion pieces that I am wearing are from my local consignment shop. To be more specific, the dress, shoes, belt, and even my sunglasses are from the thrift shop. There is no shame in my game! If I find a piece in good condition and the price is right, I buy it. Sometimes it costs me less than what I pay to have have it dry cleaned, but it’s totally worth it.

Thrifty Thursday: Alfani Step N’ Flex Women Heels

I want to focus on these These Alfani Step N’ Flex Women Heels because it was a total bargain. I paid $7.56 for these shoes. They are in great condition and they are very comfortable. I am almost certain that I paid way less than the manufacturer’s price.  I was into high heels a lot when I was in my 20s. But you get to an age where you have to step it down a little bit. Now, I am more into kitten heels and flats. Most of my shoes are less than 3 inches high. My hubby is also a few inches shorter than me. So, I have to keep things balanced.

I am not a big fan of open-toed shoes, but I can wear open-back shoes anytime of the year. I also love the dress and the double-buckled belt. To tell you the truth, I only bought the belt because they looked cool. But like the shoes, they are in great condition.

The glasses were a very last addition to the outfit. I love fashion and I love playing with colors. That’s why my lipstick matches my belt and my dress matches my shoes. Speaking of the dress, I love the details and the colors. The fit is perfect and the materials are skin friendly.
