Pamper Sampler Splash Bath Salts And Goat Milk Soap REVIEW

Hi Ladies,
I hope you had a beautiful weekend. As you can see, mine was filled with water, bath salt, candle lights, a copy of SEVENTEEN magazine, and a glass of wine. Yes, I am talking about a little pampering on a Sunday night, while hubby was watching Football, and the kids were in their beds sleeping. Yes, I had some mommy time and it was so relaxing.
I want to thank Meredith Crawley for providing the samples for this review. Meredith is the owner and creator of For Sanity’s Sake, a company that focuses on handmade, all natural bath and body products. I received the Pamper Sampler box, which is a sampler box that contains 3 products from three different vendors.  The Goat Milk Soap is by Slippery Creek , the Bath Salt is by For Sanity’s Sake, and the Candle Wax is  by Nelly’s Quilt Room.

 The Bath Salt:

Pros

  • It is very relaxing
  • It smells great

Cons

  • White residues flying on the water
  • It does not melt fast enough

The bottom line
I could feel the product working right away. I felt relaxed. I could feel the stiffness leaving my body. I was not sure how much water to use, since no instructions were provided on the package. So I used good judgement and filled the tub half-way with hot water, hot enough to help dissolve the salt. I let my whole body soak in the water for about 30 minutes. I washed my body with the soap, then rinsed with warm water. My only problem with the salt is that it took  too long to dissolve. I am okay with the white residues floating on the water.

 The Soap Bar:

Pros
  • Long-lasting fragrance
  • Moisturizing
  • It lathers good enough

Cons

  • The bar does not last

The bottom line
When it comes to my soaps and my shampoos there is one sentence that I do not like to hear, “It lathers so much.” If they lather too much that means they will either strip oil from your skin or your hair. This soap has just the right amount of lather. It cleanses my hands without leaving any drying feeling. Like with any good things, you have to pay a little more to have a little more. The soap bar will not last you a long time, but it is worth it.

The candle waxes
I am guessing that the candle waxes were sent to me for smelling purposes instead of burning purposes because that’s the only thing that I was able to do with only the candle wax. The candle wax has an excellent orange scent. I love the peace symbol in the middle. I hope they come in bigger sizes.

My overall experience with the package was great.  The packaging was excellent. The scent was welcoming when I opened the box. I think you should give these products a try. For a limited time, you can use coupon code PSJAN1 for a 10% OFF For Sanity’s Sake bath and body products.
