Hello all my beautiful friends! Do you fast? I am doing that 21-day fast with my church. Every year we choose to fast something that we love. Last year was pasta for me. But this year is meat. Today hubby and I went to ihop and I almost ate the bacon. Thank God the holy spirit was there to remind me 🙂 I have 15 more days to go. It gets easier, believe me!
I swear I was not trying to be America’s next top model in the last picture. I told my son to just point and shoot, but he found it amusing to play with the zoom button. If you’ve ever wondered what I look like when I am mad, just skip to the last picture. LOL! We are still trying to figure out the new camera. I will have to try different settings until I get it right. It is so much easier to just use my iPhone.
How To Rock A Tartan Skirt And A Fur Jacket
Anyway, I decided to play with plaid. Or is it tartan? Well, it depends on where you are reading the blog from 🙂 Winter doesn’t mean you have to put your summer and fall clothes away. You can layer up pieces to keep you warm. I paired my tartan skirt with this blue shirt from Apparel and Bags. To keep the legs warm and create a contrast, I used black leggings and boots. And that fur vest from my sister is the gift that keeps on giving. It gives each outfit their unique flare. I wore it here last year with black pants.

Bread was a big fail for me once. Now I don't fast bread anymore.
