How To Create The Pear Shape Illusion

Today we are creating the pear shape illusion!

Hello Everyone! I thank God for another week. Thanks to my new readers and supporters. Welcome to my little crazy place! I know my summer is ending when I have to go shop for school supplies. And  last Wednesday was that day. While we were at the register paying, the cashier mentioned something about tax-free day. It’s been like that for years now. Somebody always reminds us after we are done with our shopping. Maybe next year, right?

How to create the Pear Shape Illusion

Every time I buy something with  bold prints, it makes me think about my husband. He is a simple man who likes simple things. I am a very simple person too, but sometimes I like to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. But this top is not new. It’s been sitting in my closet for over two years. Every time I put it on, it made me look like a balloon. An eggplant, to tell you the truth. But when I tried it on with the wide belt, something changed. I had a waist! Say what? The only thing missing was my Mac Heroine lipstick. I am starting to think that somebody had borrowed it indefinitely. Let me know what you think about the outfit.

Isn't it amazing the difference an accessory makes! I totally love this top ad of course the color is the best part for me. You look GREAT. You like Heroine? I used to but these days I think it's too dark even in the winter months. Please don't mention 'back to school', (crying) I'm not ready. BTW i just told my daughter to read your blogs cos she's growing her natural hair.

Those colors look great on you, and adding the belt was a good idea. I also like the pumps. I live for a good classic black pump. Your kids must have ended school really early if you are already back to school shopping. Take care.

Love that top Nerline. Isn't it something how a piece of clothing doesn't work for you and then you get that inspiration & the belt changes everything. Looks gorgeous on you. I ALWAYS miss tax day! LOL I'm not a parent, but I know from others that this is a busy & expensive time of year.
