NYC City Proof 24Hr Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil REVIEW

If you don’t know it by now, waterproof eyeliner pencils are my favorite beauty products, next to lip glosses. This one was sent to me by influenster, but all opinions are my own. Let’s see how well it did!

Let me start by telling you the best things about this eyeliner. Although there ain’t much to tell ya!  It has a thick, creamy consistency. It also has a nice pigmentation. It glides on the skin very smoothly when the hard edges of the stick are not in the way. The color is slightly darker than my skin tone when swiped once. I did not see a big difference when I tried to apply it on my top lids and water lines. But, if you are looking to filling in  your eyebrows, this is a wonderful pencil.

My opinion: 
You can use this waterproof eyeliner pencil to create a few lines to achieve the perfect eyebrows. You know, the ones I  see on YouTube, but can’t seem to get right. Look at Exhibit A below! The staying power is just good enough for the price.  I must warn you that it smudges after each swipe, especially after it gets in contact with heat.  If you have oily skin like me, get ready for some serious smears! The eyeliner itself breaks easily. Mine broke off as soon as I removed the cover, but the stick is so hard you cannot even sharpen it with a regular pencil sharpener.

The bottom line 
              NYC City Proof 24Hr Waterproof Eyeliner   is pretty descent for the price, but it is best when used as an eyebrow filler, which I think  it was created for.

    Great review! I like the pigmentation and how easy it glides on. My biggest hangup is that it doesn't self sharpen. I don't buy eyeliners that don't self sharpen.

    Nerline great review I like NYC product but yes they do tend to break is not the most stable but the shade is stunning on you,.

    Nice review. I think your eye brows look good. I've been playing around with shading my brows also (thanks youtube lol) and I have the similar issue of my eyeliner smearing after a period of time. What is the price of this liner?

    I bought this and didn't like it. Like you said it is difficult to sharpen, it lasted a week as I sharpened it a lot and it kept breaking… lol. Nice review.
