Hello beautiful people! I hope everyone is doing okay GREAT! If you follow me on instagram, you already know that hubby and I went on vacation with the kids. I will share some pictures with you as soon as I get them developed edited. Does any of you miss those days when you had to take your rolls/films to the pharmacy to have them developed?
My Special Gift from influenster.com + A Mini Shopping Spree
Anywho! Before we went to Panama City, Florida, I received an unexpected gift from influenster.com. I am not sure why they sent me the gift, but it is my understanding that they have reached a big milestone and they wanted to reward their top influencers. Some community members got beauty products, but yours truly got a $50 American Express gift card. It’s always good to get something other than bills in the mailbox, right? It’s a good feeling when somebody or a group of people show you that they appreciate your work. It says on the note that I am “a model member of the influenster nation.” I am just happy that I was able to represent this community that I have been a member of since 2013. I am not going to lie; I was also happy to go on a mini shopping spree.
What I bought with my $50 gift card
I picked 4 items for over $50 at kohl’s. But when I got to the register, I told the cashier that I wanted her to charge my debit card for the remaining balance, which was $3. She gave me a $10 discount instead. That in itself was another gift. So, I went to Ulta and got a purple lipstick by NYX for $7.
I was not sure what else I was going to get with my gift card, but I knew that a mini shopping spree would not be complete without a good pair of shoes. After browsing the women department for almost two hours, I finally found these shoes on sale for $29. These shoes were being sold on their website for $59.99 at the time I was writing this post. I had to go 1/2 a size bigger because they run a little small, but I love them. The embellishments make them suitable for date night or something more formal. I plan on wearing them on my birthday this month.
