We all run into problems with our mascaras. Check exhibit A below!

We all want our mascara to last through the rain, but sometimes even an expensive mascara will run if not applied properly. I have a few tips for you:
#1 stop pumping the wand – Pumping the want will make it pick up more products, which will make it hard for your mascara to go on smoothly.
Did you know? Inside every mascara vial there is a device that wipes the product off the brush as you pull it out.
#2 Emollient creams will make both your eye makeup and your mascara run: Using a light cream, translucent powder , or gel around the lash line will stop your mascara from slipping.
#3 If you have short, straight lashes like me, you need to use a mascara with a full bristled brush that separates and coats lashes to make it look like your lashes are long. You can also use a curling mascara if your lashes are straight.
#4 The best way to spot a great mascara, no matter how much it costs, is to check for these: a) A well-made vial that closes properly, b) rich pigments, c) great texture, d) well-designed brush.
My three favorite mascaras:
1.
Maybelline Great lash BIG $4.15
2.
Revlon Color Stay $6.50
3. Mary Kay Ultimate mascara $8.00
I love, love, love Mary Kay Signature Ultimate Mascara. It curls up my lashes and make them look fuller.
