How To Rock The Christopher & Banks Knitted Sweater Jacket

I have a chic outfit post for you today. I am Rocking The Christopher & Banks Knitted Sweater Jacket. But before I start, I just want to say thanks to ALL my beauty and fashion bloggers. You guys show up and show me your support every week. I speak hair. Although it is a language that is universal, not everybody is interested in hearing it. You stop by the blog and still listen to what I have to say.

How To Rock The Christopher & Banks Knitted Sweater Jacket

Outfit of the day

Now on to the outfit! You know something fits your frame when somebody else looks at you and say, “This looks good on you. You should buy it.” So was my story when I went to a consignment shop a few months ago. When I was going on dates with my then boyfriend, I used to make my mom go to the stores with me because she has great fashion taste. It worked all the time because he ended up marrying me. Lol!

Shopping for winter clothes

Did you know that the end of summer is the best time to shop for winter clothes?  Even better if you can find them at the beginning of the hot season. When I tried this Christopher & banks knitted sweater jacket on at a consignment shop, there was an older lady there who told me that I should buy it.  I looked at her and I smiled because I thought that $19.00 was too much to spend at a thrift store.

But it was worth it because the tag was still attached to it, and the price on the tag read $64.95. I had a coupon for 50% off, which cut the price in half. I am so happy I bought this knitted sweater jacket. The material is so soft. If I take good care of it, it will last me at least 5 years. The black ruffled top is from Target, shoes from Payless, thrifted necklace, and the pants are from the gap.

Ruffled items can be overwhelming sometimes. I kept the look simple by wearing Capri pants and the off-white sweater that completed the minimalist look. Having the hair up helped, too. What do you think?

I wore this outfit to church last Sunday. It was a little cold, so the Christopher & Banks Knitted Sweater Jacket was very much needed. I know it is unusual, but I will be back on Saturday for a food post. Kisses, loves!

This is a very beautiful look Nerline; you look so chic! the top and pants look like a jumpsuit from the pictures and yes, that light jacket was a good buy. I like to buy my jackets from Consignment stores too and have scored quite a good bargain on them.
    Have a great weekend.

That jacket fits like it was made for you! The head to toe black with the pop of white looks very pulled together. LOL at your mum helping you scoop up the hubs. It's only September so I hope you get a least a couple more weeks of somewhat warm weather. Take care.
