Laneige Sleeping Care Cica Sleeping Mask is an overnight mask that contains Forest Yeast Cica, which is  scientifically proven to be more effective than the leading Cica product ingredient, madecassoside, according to Laneige. This sleeping mask’s role is to deliver intense nourishment while you sleep to relieve redness and soften stressed skin, so the skin does not break down. Furthermore, It strengthens the skin’s barrier to help it fight pollution and harsh climate.

After reading so many great reviews about this product on Instagram, I decided to give it a shot. With the cold weather being the way it is here in Georgia, I thought my skin could benefit from it. My main concern was waking up with dry skin the next morning. I felt like no matter what I did, or how much product I used, I always woke with dry skin the next day.

Special details and packaging

I received  one regular size of this sleeping mask from Octoly. The price is $34.00 for a 2.0 fl. oz jar. The packaging is what you would expect from a normal face cream. The glass jar can be reused to store DIY beauty products. The cream also comes with a little spoon that can be used to get the product out of the jar, which I forget to use 80% of the time.

Application

Laneige Sleeping Care Cica Sleeping Mask should be applied twice a week, as the last step  of your nightly routine. The reason is because it delivers intense nourishment overnight, when skin is weak due to loss of moisture and oil. As for any mask, the product should be washed off in the morning.

My experience with Laneige Sleeping Mask

This cream has a very thick texture. It doesn’t leave the skin feeling oily, and it’s lightly scented. This is the first overnight cream that I remember to use before going to bed. The reason is because I get such great results in the morning. So much so, that I even use it on the back of my hands sometimes. This product is great for irritated, dry, and stressed skin. I did not see results right away, but I am glad I did not give up. The directions say to use it twice a week, but I use it almost every night. That’s how much I love this product! I highly recommend it.

    I’m always finding so many positive reviews on this brand, but have never tried it myself. I’ve been wanting to try out a sleep mask, so maybe this is a good place to start
