Liquid Lipsticks: How To Remove Them From Your Lips

Liquid lipsticks are beautiful and long lasting. And thanks to LiveGlam, I am slowly loving them! This love had to grow on me because I had some very bad experiences with matte liquid lipsticks in the past. Some of them were too oily, and others were way too dry. But LiveGlam Kiss Me lipsticks are just in the middle. One of the problems that I have been having since I started using them is not being able to remove them completely. We do want our lippies to last long, but removing them can be tricky. We definitely want our skincare routine to be simple when it comes to lipsticks! Below are some tips that will help you remove your liquid sticks easily and effectively.

Liquid Lipsticks: How To Remove Them From Your Lips

Chances are you are already using the products below in your everyday live. Makeup removing wipes are good, but sometimes they don’t get the job done completely, especially when it comes to matte liquid lipsticks. And in most cases, you have rub hard to get the liquid lipstick off. You can use either coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, or baby oil to remove your matte liquid lipsticks. You can also use Petroleum jelly (Vaseline), lip scrub,  or lip balm. To make applying these products easy, you will need a microfiber cloth or cotton balls.

  • Extra Virgin olive oil, Coconut oil, or baby oil

Apply any one of these oils on your lips using a cotton ball. Wait for about one minute for the liquid lipstick to start melting, then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth or soft towel. The oil will not only remove the lipstick, it will also keep your lips soft.

  • Lip Scrubs

There will be situations where only a lip scrub can save you. You can either make your own lip scrub at home or you can buy one from your beauty store. Once you start applying the lib scrub to your lips, you will start to see the lipstick melting away.

  • Petroleum Jelly

If you are into skincare and makeup, chances are you have either a small or big jar of Vaseline in your bathroom. It is so useful and affordable. A little bit is all you need. Just apply it to your lips, let it sit for a minute,  then wipe it off with a soft tissue. No rubbing is necessary.

  • Lip Balm

I use lip balms throughout the year. It may sound crazy, but my favorite time to use them is at night. They are good at keeping my lips moisturized for the next day. Matte liquid lipsticks tend to look funny after having them on for long hours, or eating and drinking. If you are on the go and you have to remove them, a lip balm is your go-to product. Just apply it over your lipstick and use a makeup wipe to wipe the lipstick off.

If I can’t get it off with make up remover wipes then I’ll try the vaseline method. That lip color you are wearing looks amazing on you.

I usually use the baby oil and Vaseline for my lipstick removal and I use the DIY sugar scrub on my lips weekly if I wear a lot of make-up. These days, I try to wear very light make-up.

That make-up and lip color you have on in that Pic. is everything; very beautiful.
