Before I get into How I Use Smile Brilliant To Whiten years of coffee stains, let me tell you how I got my teeth messed up in the first place.   I started drinking coffee when I was 10 years old. It may sound odd, but 10 was a legal coffee drinking age in Haiti. We would have it with breakfast almost every morning.  I stopped drinking coffee when I went to high school in Brooklyn, NY. But because I had two jobs while going to college, I started drinking coffee again. During all these years of drinking coffee, I never thought about teeth whitening products until a few years ago. It’s really a three-step process. Before I could get any products from the company, I had to answer a few questions about my dental history. A few days later I received my kit.  I made my teeth molds  using the two different pastes provided and sent them back to Smile Brilliant in the envelope that was included in the package. I received my custom whitening trays about a week later and started whitening my teeth right away. They did an excellent job with my trays because they fit perfectly.  I used the teeth whitening gel every night for about 45 minutes. Smile Brilliant also sent me a desensitizing gel I could  use after whitening my teeth, just in case my teeth got sensitive, which it did. But the gel really helped.

 

The pros of using Smile Brilliant

 

Unlike other products I have used in the past, Smile Brilliant is not messy. The kit is affordable and easy to use. How much of the  product you get depends on your sensitivity level. You can also choose a plan that fits your budget. The trays are comfortable. I was able to keep them in my mouth while writing my blog posts or taking pictures of products that I had to review. There is not a lot of brushing involved. The gel gets all the work done!

The cons of using Smile Brilliant

 

The only thing I had a problem with while using the teeth whitening kit was the sensitivity. But my teeth only felt sensitive if I used the teeth whitening gel for longer than 45 minutes. I am glad they sent me the desensitizing gel because it took care of the problem. Now whether I use the teeth whitening gel for 45 minutes or shorter, I still use the desensitizing gel. I don’t just assume that I will be okay without it.

Final results

I love the fact that I did not have to change my lifestyle during the process. Being able to drink my coffee in the morning, and a glass of red wine at night while using smile brilliant was a win for me. Being able to get professional quality teeth whitening in the comfort of my own home was also a plus. The results were visible after the first week. When my daughter told me that my teeth were so white, I could not believe it! Cianna is my biggest critic and I always go to her for advice. For her to tell me that something was working without me asking her, that really meant a lot.
