I knew nothing about Nature’s Path Organic Sunrise Crunchy Vanilla Cereal until I received a sample from samplesource.com. The words Gluten Free quickly caught my eyes because my daughter is allergic to wheat, and I have been trying to include other healthy cereals into her diet. But she couldn’t have it because the product was manufactured in a facility that uses peanuts and tree nuts, which she is also allergic to. Well, it’s a good thing I am not allergic to anything.

I really like this cereal. It is naturally sweetened with cane juice, which is a good thing because you don’t have to add any sugar. I only received 2/3 cup, about 110 calories. After adding 1 cup 2% milk and some shredded almonds, I think I pumped it up to 250 calories. My cereal is my snack. I eat it at around 10 in the morning because I eat lunch at around 1 p.m, and I love to eat a heavy breakfast in the morning when I am really hungry most of the time. I am sorry, but all those healthy grains in the cereal did not satisfy my hunger. And I am not talking I am starving kind of hunger. My other problem is that I did not taste the vanilla flavor they mention on the package.
It is always a good thing to consume products that your digestive system can easily break down, but such products can be expensive sometimes. Eating all natural/organic food can reduce your trips to the emergency rooms, too. I would rather pay a little more on healthy food instead of paying way too much on hospital bills. This product is USDA certified organic. I think you will like the taste and its health benefits if you choose to buy it.
