Dove Exfoliating Body Polish Crushed Macadamia REVIEW

I got this DOVE Exfoliating Body Polish from my last Walmart Beauty Box. This is only a sample size, which contains 30g of the product. This new body polish by Dove contains Macadamia and rice milk. This body polish also comes in Pomegranate seeds and Shea Butter and Kiwi Seeds and Cool Aloe. According to Dove, the body polish is supposed to leave your skin silky smooth by exfoliating the skin and restoring its natural nutrients. Being someone with very dry skin, I was glad this product came in the box.

How to use Dove Exfoliating Body Polish

The product should be used on the whole body in the shower or bath, but I used it on my face and the back of my hand to show what it looks like. I wet my face before applying it because the scrub is a little thick. Then I rinsed it off with warm water.

The results:

This exfoliating body polish smells very soothing. It contains small grains and what looks like extract of the outer layer of macadamia nuts. I could feel the strength of the grains when I rubbed the product on the back of my hand. It has a thick consistency, but spreads easily. I like the scrub because it’s great at removing dead skin and leaving the skin feeling very soft. It felt like milk and honey when I was rinsing if off my skin. It does not provide a great lather, which is why I think a body wash or a soap should be used afterwards. It’s also recommended on the the instructions to follow with a Dove beauty bar or body wash after using the body polish.

My plan is to get the full size and use it mostly on my hands and feet because these areas of my body get extremely dry. This is a good product to add to your skincare routine, especially during the winter. And the best thing about it is that it’s very moisturizing.
