MERRY CHRISTMAS | Meeting And Dining With Santa

Christmas is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. Last Thursday was Dinner with Santa at my Kids’ school. It’s an annual Christmas tradition both for parents and students. The dinner was supposed to happen the week before, but mother nature decided it was time to snow in Georgia. I usually don’t go to these kind of events, but since my son’s choir was performing, I had to be there. My son has been so different since he joined the choir. The first time he performed, he told us that he felt free. My husband and I decided to support him until the end. Dinner with Santa was more fun than I thought. They had a lot of activities for the kids. And for the first time, my daughter got to talk to Santa and have her picture taken with him. Her excitement was beyond anything I could imagine. I did not get too close to Santa, but I managed to hear what she wanted for Christmas.

My son on the right doing his thing.
My son is 10  and my daughter is 8. I always say that God has blessed me through my children. I get to see them do the things that I did not get to do as a child. Growing up, we did not have a Christmas tree, let alone presents. I could not even imagine having a conversation with Santa. But my children know everything there is to know about Christmas. My daughter has 21 items on her wishlist this year. How did she even come up with 21 things?

I thank all of you for being such great readers and supporters. All I want for Christmas is good health. I also wish you good health. Because if we have health, we can manage to get the rest.

Merry Christmas!!
