This Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin box is a gift from Influenster. I know, I will forever be an Influenster girl! They have always been so kind to me. I have been opting out of most of their campaigns because I have been so busy with work and the kids. But, I am still a big fan of this community of bloggers and wonderful women.
Okay, back to this Covergirl box! I received the Simply Ageless Skin Blurring Serum, Eye Lift Serum, and the Instant Wrinkle Blurring Pressed Powder. These products are all about the BLURRING LINES! And the Covergirl promise is for you to get a healthy, youthful skin glow instantly. The promise sounds like a dream come true for on-the-go women like myself. But let’s dig a little deeper!

Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Eye And Blurring Serums + Pressed Powder
This Trio is easy to apply and promise to get you out of the house in minutes. Both the Eye Lift and and the Blurring Serum can be worn under your makeup or alone. These serums contain Coconut oil to keep the skin moisturized, and the powder contains Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C complex.
1. Simply Ageless Skin Blurring Serum
The first step of the transformation is the Blurring Serum, which has a lotion-like consistency. It reminds me of a sunscreen. Its job is to minimize pores. It blurs the pores by creating a smooth filter. It’s like creating a second layer of skin, but with less fine lines. That’s the only way I can describe it. It’s supposed to also provide hydration for 24 hours. The difference is very noticeable after application.
2. Simply Ageless Skin Eye Lift Serum
The Eye Lift Serum helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. It also helps with puffy under eye bags. The cap has a nice tip that makes application easier. I noticed that rubbing the product on your skin can create residue and un-even distribution. The best way to apply it is by patting it on the skin.
3. Covergirl Simply Ageless Instant Wrinkle Blurring Pressed Powder
The role of the powder is to instantly reduce the look of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. And of course it comes with the mirror and the powder pad. And like I mentioned above, it contains Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C.
My results and final thoughts
I applied the blurring serum all over my face while paying attention to my pore areas. There was a nice, quick glow after application. I could also feel the softness. Then I squeezed a pea-size amount of the blurring eye lift on my finger and dabbed it onto my skin, starting at the inside corner of my eyes. The direction says to sweep it out and up, which is what I did. I tapped the product on my face instead of rubbing it. I waited for the area to get dry before applying the blurring pressed powder.
Girl let me tell you, the powder did not do it for me. They sent me a color that was at least two shades lighter than my complexion. I had to add a little bit of a darker shade foundation before I could (lightly) apply the powder. And don’t expect to get a major transformation from these products. They are not designed to give you a full coverage. You also have to be careful about the amount that you use. Too much of the serums can make your makeup look cakey.
My pores did look slightly minimized. I also like the fact that these products are not drying. I will keep using them, but it’s not something that I would run to the store to get, mainly because my fine lines are not that visible. But if you want a little refresher from time to time, you should definitely give these products a try!
Have you heard of these Covergirl products before?
Your skin always looks so beautiful Nerline! It’s too bad the they didn’t send you the right shade, but your skin looks flawless!

Yeah, I don’t understand how they missed that one. Thanks babe.
Heard about them but have not not used. Face powder is a very personal thing and we are so many different shades. I’m not a makeup kinda gal and only wear it on special occasions, of which there has been none in over a year. Enjoy Spring Sis.

It’s hard to get those. I mostly get food stuff, which I don’t like. Thanks sis.
I think the blurring serum does a great job

Me too. I am all for clean makeup. Thanks babe.
It’s a shame that the products didn’t work for you as they weren’t the right shade and the serums can look cakey if you don’t apply them right – it sounded really interesting otherwise! I’ve never heard of a skin blurring serum before, but like you lines and aging isn’t a concern for me so it’s not something I’d buy. would be fun to try though!
Hope that your week is going well 🙂
