Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream REVIEW

From the Manufacturer

Cetaphil moisturizing cream–formulated specifically for chronic dry, sensitive skin–contains a superior system of extra-strength emollients and humectants clinically proven to bind water to the skin and prevent moisture loss. The result is long-lasting relief for even severely dry skin. The non-greasy formula is excellent for hands, feet, elbows, knees, and any other areas that require intensive moisturization. It’s also cosmetically appealing for facial use. Free of lanolins, parabens, and fragrances that can irritate sensitive skin; this cream is non-comedogenic.

Directions
Apply liberally as often as needed or as directed by a physician.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream REVIEW

My opinion

Pros

  • Unscented
  • Non-greasy
  • Thick consistency
  • Moisturizing
  • Fast acting ingredients
  • Works well on sensitive skin

Cons

  • Not a big fan of the packaging

This Cetaphil  moisturizing  cream has a very, very thick consistency. It gets absorbed  by the skin very fast. It provides softness and keeps the skin moisturized for a long time. This non-greasy and unscented  formula works great even on sensitive skin. It provides shine without leaving the skin feeling oily. You don’t need a lot to get smooth and oil-free results. A little bit goes a long way, even if you suffer from very dry skin. My only problem  with  this  product is the packaging. I don’t think it is healthy to keep sticking your fingers in the jar to get the product out. But,  since it is such a very thick product, I cannot even suggest that manufacturer uses a bottle and a dispensing pump instead. I guess you just have to wash your hands very well before sticking it in the jar to avoid contaminating the product itself.

The bottom line:

If you have very dry areas on your body that are unable to retain moisture, I think this is the perfect product for you. I use it on my hands after every wash and it keeps my hands moisturized until I wash them again. There is also see a slight improvement after using the product for almost two weeks. I find myself using less product than I was using before, and I can feel the elasticity on my skin.

What do you think of the packaging?

This may be great for the winter season. I have always seen it but never thought about getting it. I don't do scents so i may need to look into this product

Great review! I wouldn't like the packaging either for the hygiene issue. I use the Cetaphil restoraderm lotion daily and love it; and it's in a pump bottle which makes it a lot cleaner.

Great review hun, Glad you like the product minus the packaging. Sadly their entire line isn't moisturizing enough for my dry skin.

I have dry skin too. This one is the only one that actually worked on mine.

I'm so glad you did this review. I used samples of the Cetaphil cleanser and considered purchasing other things from the line.

Yeah the packaging is meh, Perhaps you can use one of those little spatulas to get the product. That's what I use for this sugar scrub that I use that you can't get water in.

Man, I miss Influenster. LOL I used to get things from them to review all the time but then I feel like I have so much stuff to use up so I just stopped.

I think about stopping sometimes because they want us to do too much.

I've only tried Cetaphil cleansers, so I was happy to see your review Nerline! So glad it works. HaHa, I don't like big tubs of stuff either.

I need this moisture you're talking about in my life, my face suffers during the cold season greatly! I will try it after I'm down with my current product, which I'm happy with but would love to have more options available. YAy for the coming weekend!!!
