Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer Vegetable Spiral Slicer

What can you do with the complete set of 5 blades?

▶ Angel-hair blade for 2mm ultra thin noodles
▶ Fine-shredding blade for 3mm-wide noodles
▶ Crude-shedding blade for 6mm-wide noodles
▶ Flat blade for ribbon-like noodles
▶ Curly-fry blade for 10mm wide x 6mm thick curly fries

My opinion

I received my package in excellent condition. All five blades ( 1 Angel-hair blade, 1 Fine-Shredding Blade, 1 Crude-Shredding Blade, 1 Curly-Fry Blade and 1 Flat blade) were included in the box. There is room to store up to 3 blades within the spiralizer. I wish there were enough room to store all five blades.  The base/bottom of the spiralizer has suction cups that keep it in place on the kitchen counter.  It took me less than three minutes to figure out each piece and put the machine together. The blades are dishwasher safe and it is easy to hand wash them also. The  Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer is easy to use.

If your fruit or vegetable needs to be peeled, you have to do that yourself. The machine does not do it. It is better to cut the top and the bottom of the vegetable for proper fitting and easy gripping by the spike holds. Once the vegetable is tightly held, you can start turning the vegetable clockwise through the blades with the help of the handle.  Each vegetable you push through the blades gets spiralized. You get long strings of spiral veggies. Keep in mind that this machine is not a slicer.

Pros

  • Nicely packaged
  • None-electric
  • Fun to use
  • Easy assembly
  • Easy to clean
  • Suction cups
  • Easy-to-remove blades

Cons

  • Not enough room to store the blades.

The bottom line

Spiralizing your veggies is a fun way to enjoy them. I am not quite sure if that will get your kids to eat their vegetables. They did enjoy the curly fries and the onion rings.  Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer  is a basic spiralizer that you can use in your kitchen. If you choose to buy it, don’t expect to see something that you would find in Hell’s kitchen. I really like it!

I"ve always wanted one of these. This one sounds great, other than the storage for the blades. And my husband love the thinner fries so this would be perfect!

Ever since I have started using the best electric spiralizer in my kitchen my husband have started feeling proud to invite his friends on dinner during weekends, as we are able to decorate all recipes beautifully and earn appreciation for our efforts.
