Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioning Treatment REVIEW

My Opinion

This product really needs no introduction at this point. I have been raving about it since I bought it last month. I must say that my only issue with this deep conditioner is that I did not feel the softness right away. It takes a while for my hair to absorb moisture in general, but I expected this product to do a better job at penetrating the hair shaft since it is a “3-minute deep conditioner”. I normally don’t have any issues with products that contain silicone. I think  if you follow the instructions on the container and wash your hair as you should with shampoo, silicone should not be a big problem.

This product contains silicone and I am okay with that because it works for my hair.  I apply  Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioning Treatment after shampooing the hair,  right after my regular conditioner. I use heat most of the time to make sure my hair  absorbs the product very well. This product provides great slip, but I after I washed it out, the hair was very soft, shiny, and I did notice less frizz. My hair stays moisturized longer, too.

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Thick consistency
  • Makes hair manageable
  • Moisturizes the hair
  • Leaves hair shiny

Cons

  • Does not work as fast as promised (on my hair)

The bottom line

For a product that promises hydration within minutes, I don’t think
that it worked fast enough. I cannot totally blame the product because I have low porosity hair, and that could be the reason the product did not work as fast for me. You cannot go wrong with $2.97! Another thing that I like about Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioning Treatment is that it is very thick. You don’t have to use a lot if you take your time to apply the product to your hair. This product is a winner for me. I am on my fourth purchase now. I will keep using it until I find something that works better.

Yes! This product is awesome! You have a great point about the porosity being a factor in how quickly it penetrated. I think I have a normal porosity so it did not take very long for me. Great review!

Great review, Nerline! I love this conditioner on both my hair and my daughter's hair. But I wish it had a different applicator.

      My issue too Dre!

  14. December 4, 2015 / 5:29 am

Yep used to be one of my staples and then where I was living I couldn't find it for a while. I haven't pulled it back out now that I've relocated but moisture is always an issue for my hair so I should search for it again.

    • June 5, 2016 / 7:35 am

You should. It's a great product
