7 Makeup Must-Haves for Busy Moms
Here is the list of all the makeup products that you need if you are a busy mom.
#1 Moisturizer
Great makeup begins with a great base. And for that, it is essential to get your skincare game correct. A good moisturizer can go a long way, and it can make your makeup quite long-lasting.A moisturizer is a must-have, and there are plenty of moisturizers available out there in the market. The only key here is to choose one depending on your skin type.
Also, go through the ingredient list to avoid any harsh chemicals because when you are a mom, your hormones are already out of whack. You do not want any skin troubles to add to your already busy schedule. Choose a moisturizer that is not too greasy but does an excellent job of keeping your skin well hydrated and plump.
#2 Primer
Investing in a good quality primer is a great way to get started with your makeup routine. Being a busy mom, it is quite evident that you would want to skip out on many things. But ditching a primer is a bad idea! If you do not apply primer before your makeup, then it will just increase the chances of your makeup melting away. And you would be required to fix it now and then. Of course, this is the last thing that you would want.
So choose something which is lightweight and has good blend-ability. Choose according to your skin concerns. For example, if you have large pores, select something which blurs out the appearance of your large pores. If you have oily skin, go for a primer that can control the production of excess sebum.
#3 CC Creams
CC creams are a savior, especially for those days when you do not want to look all dolled up. CC creams generally stand for color corrector, and they do a pretty good job of hiding all the imperfections of your skin. They provide pretty good coverage, too, and you can choose from anything between sheer, medium, or full coverage.
When you are a busy mom, it is apparent that you will not have a luxurious time to spend on a full-fledged foundation routine. For such cases, CC cream is a must-have. Apart from makeup benefits, they also have several skincare benefits like sunscreen and anti-aging. Drugstore CC creams have a wide variety, and they have something for all skin types. Here are some recommended drugstore CC creams. You do not need to spend a stack of dollars on it and go for something which suits your skin.
#4 Concealer
Concealer is a must-have for all busy moms out there. While you are the mom, you are much prone to breakouts and puffy eyes or dark circles due to lack of sleep. But the whole world does not have to know about your situation. This is where concealers come in. Concealers hide all the imperfections quite well, giving you a fresh and awake look. Just a dab of concealer can make all those ugly dark circles disappear and also cover dark spots or unsightly red pimples, making you look flawless.
Look for something that can blend in well and go for one shade lighter if you are trying to make your eyes look bright and appealing. Also, look for non-comedogenic products because the last thing you would want is your makeup products to accelerate your acne problem.
#5 Mascara
Mascara is something you should all consider in your makeup routine regardless of your situation. Mascara can make a world of difference to your entire makeup look. Go for a mascara, which will make your lashes appear thick and voluminous. This will make your eyes pop out, and it will make you look more alive and awake.
Mascaras provide the necessary lift to your eyes, which is very much needed in the life of busy moms when they do not have the time to do elaborate eye makeup.
#6 Blush
A little cheek color can make an immense difference. Blush is a must-have product, especially for those days when your face is looking all dull and lifeless. A blush brings back life to your face making you look fresh, youthful, and beautiful. Choose a blush that is close to your natural skin tone, and anything from the pink or red family works great. Do not be afraid to go overboard with it because it is going to make you look way cuter and younger.
#7 Lip Color
Now coming to the last makeup must-have, which is a lipstick. Lip color can make you look way more appealing and presentable. No makeup look is complete without a little tint on the lips. There is a wide variety of lip products available out there in the market, and you can choose from lip tints to lip glosses as per your convenience. Do not be afraid to go for a bold lip as this will make you feel more confident, classy, and sassy. If you are confused, stick to red. There is nothing that can ever go wrong with a red lip.
Conclusion
If you happen to be a new mom, then you must know that life is so happy and beautiful with a new member arriving into the family. But along with this, you also know that you have got pretty less time to look after and pamper yourself.
Being a mom does not necessarily mean that you can not do makeup. It is just that you need to choose the right products and keep your routine short and sweet. That was all for this article. I hope it was helpful for all those busy moms out there.

Thanks Allie.
A good CC cream with SPF is a great item for all busy Ladies. I am not so keen on mascara because I have not worn it daily. The CC I loved was IT cosmetics 50 SPF cream when I had a job. But I see there are many available on the market these days. Great post Sis!!

I totally agree sis. Thanks.
I’m not a mom but I totally get how you’ve really got to use the bit free time you might have to look after yourself.

Yes. Self-care is very important.
Pretty cool post love. I love all of your must have items, especially the moisturizer. I typically don’t wear makeup everyday because I don’t like to wear it often (unless I’m going somewhere or taking photos) and never really have time to apply it. I’m always making sure my brows are right though, lol.
